In the near future heroic end of life medical care needs to be paid for by the families of the dying, not by the state. Two doctors can follow a routine procedure to euthanise an individual. As this intervention is now so rare most surgeons and other life saving medical staff now spend their time either running these panels or spending time enhancing the rich and the well with increasingly obtuse cosmetic surgery.
